Amazing Radio - a new DAB station
June 01, 2009 - Posted By James

Following the closure of Birdsong on Digital One, a new digital radio station has launched nationally playing nothing but new music by unsigned artists.

Amazing Radio is calling itself the world's first interactive radio station, and it will feature 100 percent new music and presenters who have never worked in radio before. It will play new music, including indie, urban, rock, jazz and pop music as uploaded by artists looking for a break on the amazingtunes.com website.

"It’s normally impossible for new artists to get onto big radio stations. So we made our own,” says Amazing founder, former BBC Producer and musician Paul Campbell.

Amazing Radio will broadcast nationally on DAB digital radio for a six-month pilot on the Digital One multiplex.

Agreed he's taking the micheal calling it the first fully interactive radio. I do however love the idea of all unsigned talent and non experianced DJ's thats doing to rock the music scene for radio, and you never know it might just produce some awesome and talented presenters.
